Comicpanna collects minimal personal information necessary to deliver reading list management, superhero gamification XP, and monthly wishlist pacing:
- Account Info: Username, email address, password hash (via bcrypt), and optional country.
- Reading Telemetry: Comics marked as Have Read, Currently Reading, or To Read.
- Gamification Metrics: Level, XP, superhero persona class, and unlocked badges.
2. Cookies & Local Storage (GDPR)
We use essential cookies strictly for authenticated sessions, CSRF security verification, PWA service worker offline caching, and user interface preferences. We do not track you across third-party websites or sell user data to data brokers.
3. AI Lore Engine & External APIs
When you request an AI Lore Guide recap, only the public title and synopsis of the comic book is sent to AI inference endpoints (Groq, Google Gemini, Cloudflare Workers AI). Your personal profile details and reading logs are never shared with AI model training sets.
4. Your GDPR & CCPA Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to:
- Access & Export: View all your stored profile data, reviews, and reading milestones at any time in your Hero Sheet.
- Right to Erasure: Request permanent deletion and data purge directly from your account settings.
- Privacy Controls: Toggle your profile visibility between Public and Private with 1 click.
5. Contact & Privacy Inquiries
To delete your account and data, use the Request Account Deletion button under Account Settings → Danger Zone on your profile - it submits a request an admin processes within 48 hours, no email needed. For any other privacy inquiries, contact the developer at smjrifle.net.
